Study for the municipal administration aimed at enhancing the port area and the tourist flow of the city of Crotone. The marina has a fundamental importance for the pleasure boating, not only related to the Calabria Region, but for all the transit in the Ionian Sea, Land and Adriatic. In fact, the port of Crotone is the only safe harbor for boats in the Ionian sea between Reggio Calabria and Santa Maria di Leuca. The city of Crotone is rich in history with an ancient center and the marvelous castle of Charles V that dominates, near the historical center, the entire port area. The valorisation of the port area, of the historical center and of the architectural presences up to the well-known site of Capo Colonna was the theme of the analysis and of the proposed design study
