The studio is located in the historic family home, nestled in a natural park on the outskirts of the city, in via San Donato No. 162 in Bologna. Zecchini Group Studio was founded in 1993 as an evolution of the Firm “Associated Architects” founded in 1977. The studio is based on a team of qualified technicians with different and complementary skills, able to face the challenges of any modern construction process, managing all stages and in different contexts of intervention, such as architectural design, construction planning and urban planning. The approach to work is characterized by the attention to functional aspects, formal and architectural coupled with the resolution capacity of the most complex design issues, with the aim of providing a quality building product, through a continuous upgrading of skills. The design process is structured, at every stage, on the contribution of sector-specific skills and professional experience of each employee.

THE STUDIO
Andrea Zecchini was born in Bologna on the 2 nd of February 1951. After high school graduation at Liceo San Luigi, he enrolled at the University of Florence, where he graduated in 1977 with Honors. The same year he became a member of the Architects in Bologna. He is married with three sons, one of them, Tommaso, works with him.
